The senior shelves are open: Classes 11 and 12

10 October 2026 · by Sree, Aryabeta

When Textbook+ launched, the library stopped at Class 10. That was never the plan — it was just where we started. As of this week, the senior shelves are stocked: every English-medium NCERT textbook for Classes 11 and 12 is in — 67 new books and 522 new chapters, taking the library to 116 books and 980 chapters across Classes 6–12.

What arrived

The full senior-secondary range, not just the headline subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology, yes — but also Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, History, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Fine Art, and the English readers (Hornbill, Flamingo, Vistas, Kaleidoscope and more). Every book opens as the original NCERT pages, with the same study companion beside them: explanations, quizzes, chalkboard walkthroughs, videos, and the tutor you can photograph questions at.

Board-exam practice for Class 12

Alongside the books, we ingested the official CBSE material for the senior board year: over 1,300 questions from 29 official papers — eleven Class XII question banks and all eighteen in-corpus 2025-26 sample papers — mapped to their chapters across 31 books, from the sciences and maths to commerce and the humanities. Every question shows its exact CBSE source, and every one has a Solve step by step button that walks it out on the chalkboard.

Between Classes 10 and 12, that's both board years covered with real, attributed, official questions — not question-bank knockoffs.

No waiting at the front door

A chapter's study aids are generated the first time anyone opens it — that's what keeps a 980-chapter library affordable — but nobody likes a loading banner on day one. So we pre-prepared the opening chapters of every core Class 12 book: Electric Charges and Fields, Solutions, Relations and Functions and their 33 siblings open instantly, right now. (And when you are the first reader of a chapter, the banner now tells you why it takes a minute — once, ever.)

Try it in two minutes

Open textbook.app/app/, tap the Class 12 filter, and open Physics → Physics Part-I → Electric Charges and Fields. Scroll the insights panel: definitions, quizzes, a video — then keep going to the end for the CBSE practice questions, and tap Solve step by step on one.
